Summary

Anne-Marie barge travels along the Canal of Provence. It has 11 spacious cabins, all with window that can accommodate up to 22 passengers. Each cabin is equipped with private en-suite facilities (shower and WC). TV, radio, telephone (for internal calls only), safe and air-conditioning. It also features a spacious lounge with bar and restaurant, sun deck with loungers and parasols and Jacuzzi at the prow of the barge.

Terms & Conditions

Prices shown in Euros and will be converted in Australian Dollar (AUD) at time of payment using a daily ROE. An initial deposit of 30% of the total cruise fare for cabin or charter is payable at the time of booking. The balance must be paid within 60 days as per our terms and conditions and as specified in our confirmation invoice, which will be despatched when the booking form has been processed. Cancellation policy applies to all bookings.

Itinerary 

Arles to Sète

Day 1, Arles
You are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, you will be introduced to the crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight, enjoy dinner and remain in port overnight.

Day 2, Arles - Gallican
Tour of Arles(2). Discover this cultural center and its Roman ruins, and then travel inland to find out about olive oil production in Provence. You will finish up the tour with a tasting of some local products. Afterwards, return to the ship and spend the afternoon cruising to Gallician.You'll travel on the Rhône River and the Rhône à Sète Canal.

Day 3, Gallician - Aigues-Mortes
This morning, you'll have an excursion to the Camargue. Afterwards, you can enjoy some free time in the splendid city of Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer, where we recommend a visit to its fortified church. Spend the afternoon cruising towards Aigues-Mortes, arriving in the early evening.

Day 4, Aigues-Mortes - Palavas-Les-Flots
Enjoy a tour of Aigues-Mortes(2). This old, fortified city with a rich heritage is located in the middle of the marshes and is one of the most beautiful sites in Provence. You'll board a tourist train and tour the salt marches and visit the salt museum. Afterwards, you'll return to the ship. Spend the afternoon cruising to Palavas-Les-Flots. Spend some free time discovering the spa resort of Palavas-Les-Flots, whose rich identity reaches back for more than three centuries.

Day 5, Palavas-Les-Flots - Sete(1)
Set out on a tour to discover a manade and the life of its herders during a visit by wagon, and take part in a bull sorting. Before returning to the boat, you'll have a delicious snack with products coming from the farm. Spend the afternoon cruising towards Sète, arriving in the early evening.

Day 6, Sete
You'll leave on an excursion to the Étang de Thau, famous for its shellfish. you'll visit the Étang de Thau Museum, where we'll discover the shellfish farmers and fishermen. You'll be able to taste some of the shellfish while taking in the beauty of the basin from a terrace. The afternoon will be dedicated to a tour of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Return on board for our gala dinner and evening.

Day 7, Sete - Arles or Avignon
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. Coach transfer from Sète to Arles or Avignon. End of cruise.


Sète to Arles

Day 1, Avignon or Arles
Transfer by coach from Avignon or Arles to Sète. You are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, meet the crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2, Sete(1)
Leave on an excursion of the Etang de Thau, famous for its shellfish. You'll visit the Etang de Thau Museum, where you'll discover the shellfish farmers and fishermen, and you'll be able to taste some of the shellfish while taking in the beauty of the basin from a terrace. The afternoon will be dedicated to a tour of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, one of the most beautiful villages in France. After your visits, you'll return to the ship.

Day 3, Sete - Palavas-Les-Flots
Spend the morning cruising towards Palavas-Les-Flots. Cross the Etang de Thau, before joining the Rhône à Sète Canal. You'll arrive by late morning. This afternoon, set out on a tour to discover a manade and the life of its herders. You'll travel by wagon and take part in a bull sorting. Before returning to the boat, you'll have a delicious snack with products coming from the farm. Tonight, take advantage of some free time and discover the spa resort of Palavas-Les-Flots, whose rich identity reaches back for more than three centuries.

You'll discover this cultural center and its Roman ruins, and then travel inland to find out about olive oil production in Provence. You'll finish up our tour by tasting some local products. After your visits, you'll return to our ship. Tonight is your gala evening and dinner.

Day 7, Arles
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of cruise.

(1)Depending on mooring availability and weather conditions, the stopover in Sète could be replaced by a stopover in Frontignan.
(2)According to where the ship is moored, coach transfer will be organised on board. A €20 additional charge will be requested at that time.
