Itinerary

Day 1,  Ajaccio: Arrival

Meet your drive and guide, then transfer to the hotel****.

Day 2, Visit of Piana (1 hour and 30 minutes, 70 km)

During the journey, you discover the unique Calanche de Piana, rated of global interest by UNESCO, very picturesque because of the morphology and the red color of the rocks changing according to the weather! We propose the lunch in a Cargese restaurant with a beautiful panoramic seaview ( includes the products of a famous ice cream maker!) Cargese with its 2 churches built opposite, one is Greek! One is catholic! Arrival in Ajaccio. Hotel****

Day 3, Corte and the Restonica (1 hour & 31 minutes, 80 km)

We head today for the centre of the island and Corte, the historic hotspot that Pasquale Paoli (the 17th century Corsican resistance leader) declared the capital of the newly independent Corsica. A country road lined with pine trees leads the way into the romantic Restonica valley. Recharge your batteries in the most picturesque of mountain scenery as you follow the footpath to Melo and Capitello Lakes. Day 4, Tour of Ajaccio

In the morning, discover the local products the market stalls, on the palm trees Square. Visit of the imperial town Ajaccio with an English speaking guide, the house of Napoleon. Relaxing afternoon in the pedestrians streets : Rue Fesch, Cours Napoleon. Or excursion with boat to the famous Sanguinaire Island.

Day 5, Bonifacio (2 hours & 30 minutes, 130 km)

Bonifacio, in the extreme south of Corsica. a stop in the main prehistoric site of Filitosa which has the particularity to have a unique collection of statues menhirs (many of them with anthropomorphic shapes (human). Visit of the Citadel and boat visit to see the spectacular view of Bonifacio settled on the white cliffs !. Lunch in Bonifacio and try the succulent Aubergines à la Bonifacienne! or the famous fish soup! NIght in Bonifacio hotel****. 

Day 6, Ajaccio

Departure to Sardinia from Bonifacio by boat or (Ajaccio airport, Figari airport, Bastia airport).
