La Suze-sur-Sarthe, our one-way base for cruises to and from Chenillé-Changé, is conveniently situated on the Sarthe just 19km south of Le Mans.
 

Chenille Change Base

This Base has a WC and shower according to the opening hours of the base, a phone box, picnic area and enclosed and public carparking.  Located at Lion d'Angers (10 km) away are Restaurants, Banks, Post Office and a Market.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you are going to be arriving at the base after 6 pm, you will need to inform the base directly. They will give you the name of the boat and the keys. You will spend the first night on board. The base staff will do the full briefing the following morning at 9. (It's generally possible, but sometimes difficult on Sunday morning).

Don't miss stopping at Angers which preserves a colourful and bustling old town underneath its castle walls. The pleasures of this glorious region extend also to the table, with rillettes, chicken and capons washed down with wine or sparkling cider.
