Customer initiatives
Priority check-in / late check-out:
Customers can request at the time of booking to have
priority check-in and/or late check-out, allowing them to
collect their boats between 12-1pm (instead of 4pm) and
return them by Midday on their last day (instead of 9am). A
note needs to be made on the customers booking form to
record their interest in this new service. One week prior to
departure, this will be confirmed with the base manager and
must be confirmed back to the customer. This is necessary
due to routine maintenance schedules and
cleaning/preparation timescales required for each
turnaround. A fee of £60 / 85 is payable locally for this
service.
New bikes: All regions will receive a supply
of brand new lightweight aluminium bikes for customers to
hire. Mountain bikes and bikes suitable for children are
also available to hire.
Pricing
Fuel charges are clearly stated as between $7-$18
per hour. Agents are encouraged give clear information on the likely
additional fuel costs for the particular boat type/route chosen by
the customer.
Car transfer cost: Up to $530
Cleaning customers can choose to pay
up to $212
(depending on the size of the boat) to have the final cleaning of
the boat done for them prior to return to base. Customers returning
their boats in an unsatisfactory condition will be charged a
cleaning fee.
Bikes: A new cross country bike is $88 and a standard
bike is $71 per person/per week |
