The Strasbourg Kleber is on the edge of a pedestrian area encircling
the heart of this cultural crossroads. Seat of the Council of
Europe, Strasbourg has nevertheless lost none of its old-fashioned
charm and traditions: narrow streets with half-timbered houses,
pink sandstone cathedral with Gothic spires, the Palais de Rohan
and 'Petite France' with its covered bridges over the River
